Why Incomplete / Half Truth is more Dangerous than a Lie?

“Why incomplete / half truth is more dangerous than a lie?” the philosophy behind this accreditation actually lies inside the fact, that the truth in itself is an absolute unit which can’t be broken down into bits or pieces. So, the saying “Half Truth” really don’t exist but we say so because the incident referred to as half truth cannot be completely declined or accepted of being a “True Incident”. The main reason for the Half Truth to be considered as more dangerous than a lie is because it makes the  Half Lie associated with it more trustworthy as indeed the half incident related with the story is True.

Why Incomplete / Half Truth is even more Dangerous than a Full Lie?

To Justify, the given statement there are many examples present in the market to make us believe the essence of the statement. One such example is given in  the holy “Mahabharata” . The incident is described as follows: Guru Dronacharya who was the Guru of both the pandavas and the kauravas. During the war Guru Dronacharya was on the side of the kauravas , He was such a good Archer that until he on his own not decided to leave his weapons anyone cannot kill him with his weapons in his hands. . Guru Dronacharya loved their son  Ashwathama and pandavas knew that if Guru Dronacharya would get to know that his son has been killed by the pandavas he would immediately quit his weapons and go into Deep Meditation.

Now, the pandavas started their plan by killing a Elephant named Ashwathama and then made their  brother Yudhisthir transfer the meassage to Guru Dronacharya of Ashawathama elephant being killed . This message was to be said by Yudhisthir only because Guru Dronacharya would only believe the words of him as he never spoke a lie in his entire life. Yudisthir went to Guru Dronacharya to tell him about the death of the  elephant named  Ashwathama , Guru Dronacharya could only hear the news of Aswathama being killed due to the background noise played by the pandavas which made him Quit his weapons and then being killed by Dhrishtadhyumna. This story is a perfect example narrating the consequence and the ill effects of a half truth.

A lie is a thing that can be easily detected as there are no “True” incidents present in the world to support the lie conversely the half truth has something “True” affiliated with it which makes the half lie chunk of it a stronger contender for not being detected easily by anyone. The Half truth is in fact a superior genre of a lie which makes it a lethal weapon for deceiving someone and making someone count on the incident. The Half Truth is something that is considered as having more potential by many of the “Biggest liars” in the world which may be someone in you know (maybe someone between me and you too ?). And of all the reasons for the Half truth to be considered  as more dangerous than a lie the foremost of them is the fact that either it is a half truth or a complete lie the foundation of both the the commodity lies on a single Superior Commodity i.e “A Lie” which always will remain a very threatening thing.
